O
ne of George's investors asked another if she thought George could be rehabilitated.  Although it's sad to think of anyone as so morally, intellectually, and spiritually bankrupt that rehabilitation was futile - she responded in the negative.  She believed the prudent course of action was to use the legal means available to pursue repayment but otherwise eliminate George from their lives.  It seems she doesn't respond well to exploitation and betrayal.

Timeline - Recap

In 2000, George attempted suicide with a gun held to his head and later held himself hostage in a standoff with police.  SWAT members took him into custody.

In 2001, George was expelled from the Temple Hospital Methadone program.

On July 11, 2001 the VA hospital in Coatesville called the police after George threatened suicide with a gun.  He was then admitted to the acute psychiatric ward at the hospital.  At this time he tested positive for PCP.  He also told them he kept several guns at a friend's house but refused to provide additional information.

On October 24, 2001 George was again suicidal planning to "end it all" with a full bottle of Seroquel as noted in his VA records by Michael A. ******, Psy. D.

In 2001, George phoned a friend informing her of his intent to commit suicide and was admitted to Northwestern Institute of Psychiatry in Fort Washington.

In 2004, George was involuntarily committed under a 302 warrant

In December 2004, George was again suicidal and wrote a suicide note to his family.

By January 2005, George remained suicidal, this time writing a suicide note to a friend.

During the summer of 2006, George threatened to harm the family of one of his investors after George was refused an additional loan.

In October 2006, George was arrested in possession of cocaine and three guns.  He spent two weeks in Building 50 in Norristown.  He then spent 6 months in Montgomery County Prison.

In March 2007, Assistant District Attorney Kevin Regan wrote an email to Judge William Furber.

From the email: "It is the Commonwealth's position that this defendant poses a danger to both the community and himself."

Given all we know about George, we certainly agree with ADA Kevin Regan's position.

George was arrested with a quantity of cocaine on October 6, 2006 in his rental home situated in Pottstown, PA about 2 miles from a school.  He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Disorderly Conduct.  His other charges included Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Possession of Firearm Prohibited, Receiving Stolen Property, Person Not to Possess/Use Firearm - Incompetent.

Sentencing guidelines for some of George's charges range as follows:  12 to 24 months, 30 to 60 months & 60 to 120 months.

Even though you and I might strongly suspect that an individual in this situation would be prosecuted, George was instead offered a Plea Agreement and pled Guilty only to Disorderly Conduct and received 2 years probation.  He posted bail and was released into the community on April 17, 2007.

You're remembering what George did as a teen, aren't you?

Upon his release, with few options available, George turned up on his mother's doorstep.  She reluctantly permitted him to live with her until July 09, 2007 when George was admitted to Norristown State Hospital.  He was released 10 days later.

Documents indicate that George's legal sources of income provided at least $60,000 in earnings in 2005 with at least another $60,000 in income for 2006.  George reported "0" dollars in income to the Veterans Administration while receiving over $900 per month VA pension/disability.

George used Medicaid to cover the costs of his expensive controlled substances while reporting "0" dollars in income to the Welfare Department.

The $120,000 or more in income for 2005 & 2006 was not reported to the Welfare Department while George had Medicaid nor was his income reported to the International Revenue Service.

Note to George:  In life, so far, you have managed time and again to escape accountability for your actions.  You are cunning but you aren't smart so we'll attribute this record to luck.

Imagine now a coalition of those persons in your life whom you've wronged - people in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, etc., all interested in the same goal.  Even after decades in some cases George, you are well remembered.  We realize that on this long list of names you've recently added a few trained professionals.  Perhaps you think they'll never catch on, but like a glass of pierogies, usefulness will prove difficult to feign.

We're patient and hope those professionals soon achieve denouement.

Any idea George, how much information the Inspector General, the District Attorney and the Drug Enforcement Administration have about you?

Still feeling lucky George?

Note to Reader:

George does not yet understand the assets in place working daily now for a measure of accountability in his life.  We're greatly certain though that George’s life will be drastically different in the near future.

There are certainly good, kind and honest people in this story but there are others who are flawed in ways that are not unlike George.  As events unfold and forces shift, we will be able to update this site concerning the events and effort that produces the eventual outcome.

Not one to work, we expect George will again consult an attorney with the wet dream hope of suing us.  We're unconcerned.
